Job Title: eMedicStore Technology Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• The primary responsibility of eMedicStore Technology Officer will include writing new codes, updating, optimizing and developing servers and databases for website functionality and coding for different platforms.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for the technical design, development and implementation of mobile and web applications. The candidate will work in all phases of the development cycle: concept to implementation and must be comfortable with back-end programming.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, Development, and Maintenance of Web and Mobile Applications.
• Responsible to oversee the company’s WebApp and Mobile App vis-à-vis working with a team of developers to deliver updated versions.
• Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features.
• Read and write high-quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines.
• Writing clean, readable, testable, and documented codes.
• Creating servers and databases for functionality.
• Perform full life-cycle development.
• Responsible for security and backup of all the company data from time to time.
• Adhere to agreed-upon delivery schedules/dates.
• Responsible for development and deploying of regularly scheduled updates in tandem with business/operational needs.
• Utilizes source control, continuous integration, and unit-testing best practices.
• Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
• Fixing bugs and performance problems vis-a-vis ensuring responsiveness of the application.
• Working alongside the Digital Marketer, Graphic Designer, and Clinical Pharmacist for Web and MobileApp design features.
• Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
• Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
• Work cross-functionally to define and write code for new features.
• Good organizational skills, know your limits, and how to work on a deadline.
• In-charge of all technology-related activities in the company which include but are not limited to (hosting, domain, email, QuickBooks, office software/eMedicStore dashboard e.t.c)

Job Location:

• Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. (Residential Proximity to the job location will be an added advantage).

Skills / Requirements

• Proven Backend or FullStack Web and Mobile App Developer with a minimum of two years experience.
• Strong command of JavaScript frameworks such as React, React Native, NextJS, NodeJS with Express, AngularJS.
• Proficiency with server-side languages such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby, PHP, and .Net.
• Familiarity with database technology such as MongoDB, Oracle, MySQL.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Must be able to handle a fast-paced work environment.
• Staying abreast of developments in web and applications and programming languages.
• Age: 21-32 Years
• The candidate should have minimum of 2-3 years of work experience.

Remuneration
Negotiable (With equity option).
