We are  recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Kitchen Steward

Location: Abuja

Job Description
Primarily responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygienic conditions in the kitchen, and performing other duties which include but are not limited to those listed below:

  • Assist with food storage, rotation and preparation where necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all dining utensils, kitchen and kitchen storage areas.
  • Discard all expired and spoiled food items stored in the stock rooms, refrigerators and freezers
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of pantry, storeroom and non-cooking kitchen workers as well as purchases, kitchen supplies and equipment.
  • Take inventory of china, silverware and glassware and report shortages and requisition replacements.

Requirements

  • Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years’ work experience.
  • Previous demonstratable experience in the hospitality industry is required
