Job Title: ICT Business Development Manager

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Reports to: Board of Directors

Job Summary

  • We need a competent Business Development Manager who is currently functioning in the same capacity in an ICT company.
  • ICT Business Development Managers identify and generate new ICT business opportunities to further improve market share and awareness by gaining an understanding of customers' ICT needs and promoting goods and services to these customers. They may manage some key customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visits regular and prospective client businesses to establish and act on selling opportunities.
  • Assesses customers' needs and explaining the goods and services which meet their needs.
  • Promotes employers' ICT goods and services to existing and prospective clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • The primary job responsibility is to find and assess a business opportunity in his assigned territory for information-technology sales. Whether it is seeking leads in new markets or existing markets,
  • the business-development specialist must be able to convince a potential client of the advantages of implementing an IT solution to help improve business. Often, the main selling point is trying to showcase how technology can help a customer cut costs and improve the bottom line.
  • A business-development specialist must thoroughly learn the marketplace and trends, so as to fine tune and adapt to the ever-changing information-technology business. The sales aspect necessitates networking, attending trade events and conferences.
  • Business Development Manager position focused on account development and sales to key OEM customers within identified strategic markets
  • Increase revenue for the company by researching, identifying and developing new accounts within identified strategic markets.
  • Identify key contacts and decision makers within organizations.
  • Conduct cold-calling campaigns to promote company’s products and build an opportunity pipeline.
  • Manage customer relationships through the entire sales cycle: initial contact, account development, promotion of products and services, evaluation of products and product acceptance.
  • Provide important market and customer feedback to ICT for product improvements and new product development.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively to internal ICT personnel regarding new and existing sales opportunities, customer feedback and new product requirements.
  • Create quotations and technical proposals for customers.
  • Maintain a sales forecast and accurate opportunity funnel.

Education / Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology / Engineering or any of the related fields.
  • 8 - 10 years of experience.

N450,000 - N550,000 monthly.
