Job Title: Manager Facilities and Equipment Maintenance
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities:
Manages the cleaning and maintenance team with the objectives of safety, efficiency, and effective operation of machinery and systems in a cost-effective and timely manner for our site. Ensures the value of the company's capital assets (facilities and equipment) are protected and enhanced while achieving a minimum of downtime.
Responsible for all site maintenance and operations including overseeing the maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems including: electrical (generators, UPS, Inverters, A/Cs), fire/life safety, mechanical (plumbing, controls)
Skills and Competency Requirements are:
- Expert knowledge of maintenance and repair of generators and A/Cs
- Strong use of English language in both verbal and written.
- Must be analytical and keen to details.
- Works well in a high volume, fast paced environment
- Able to work effectively without supervision
- Committed individual with initiative and ability to lead a team with efficient leadership and motivation
- Confident with an ability to work with a positive approach under the most competitive and challenging conditions
- Ability to support Director with regular weekly written status reports, as well as ad hoc reports (and graphs) as requested.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in the field of facilities management
