Job Title: Head, Capital Markets, Asset Management & Research
Location: Lagos
Job Description:
- Acquisition and origination of financial advisory and capital market mandates
- Provide leadership to the team to achieve the goals of the organization and its business department
- Lead a team that would produce high quality research reports and publications
- Supervise, grow and deepen the asset management business of the company and oversee the design, execution and distribution of collective investment schemes
- Lead the origination, structuring and implementation process around financial advisory and capital market mandate
- Any other duty as assigned
Requirement
- Degree in Finance/ Banking & Finance or any other relevant discipline
- Being SEC registered is desirable
- Additional professional qualifications/certifications such as ACS, ACS, CFA or an MBA are a strong plus.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Financial Advisory, Capital Markets and Asset Management
- Experience working abroad would also be an advantage
Competerences
- Excellent understanding of the Nigerian financial market
- Deep knowledge /experience in the Nigerian capital market
- Financial literacy with sound experience in financial analysis
- Must be computer proficient
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills required.
- Sound leadership skills
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, stress and meet deadlines
- Good portfolio management skills.
- Strong financial modelling skills
- Strong networking skills
- Strong presentation skills
