Job Description
The Director of Research shall be responsible to the Director-General for coordinating the research staff, research activities and projects of the institute, collation and publication of research materials. He/she will be responsible for all the issues connected with research and ensure effective coordination of the research activities of the National Institute. The position is for a term of 2 years which may be renewed for another period of 2 years. Candidate must be within the age bracket of 50-65 years.

Qualification and Experience:
  • Candidates should possess a PhD in either the Liberal Arts or the Social Sciences with not less than 20 years of service either in University, Research Institutions, public or private organisation, and must have attained the position of a Professor in his area of specialisation for at least 7 years Candidates should have ability to initiate, develop arid supervise policy and strategy-oriented researches.
  • Candidates should provide evidence of work and leadership experience with inter-disciplinary groups and sufficient proof of scholarly contributions in reputable journals and books.
