We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Fashion Designer
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Job Responsibilities
- Dripping of Proposed Designs
- Research and create New Design using various fabrics
- Research for trims & Accessories to fit proposed designs
- Prepare Sample Patterns
- Make Request for raw fabric, Accessories and trims from the local and foreign buying team
- Ensure to ascertain availability of raw materials to use for each specific design created
- Efficient in picking fabrics, colours, combinations and designs for production.
- Creative usage of fabric leftovers to reduce wastage.
- Liaise with raw material and external vendors on accessories to be created for outfits produced.
Desired Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- First Degree from a reputable higher institution
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
- Experience in Fashion
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to do sketches by hand.
- Excellent design and conceptual skills.
- Strong ability to pay attention to detail.
