We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Water Treatment Plant Operator

Location: Marina, Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Requirements
Academic:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences / Social Sciences E.g. Chemical Engineering/ Occupational Health
• Master's degree in Occupational Health, Safety and Environment will be an added advantage

Years of Experience:

• At least 5 years' relevant experience in a similar role in the Oil & Gas industry.

Professional Certifications:

• HSE professional qualification is required
• Additional related qualifications will be a definite added advantage

Job Knowledge/Experience:

• Ability to perform daily checks of the water treatment process and periodic checks of pump stations.
• Have a working knowledge of the operation, methods and procedures of a water treatment plant.
• Have a working knowledge of the machinery used for water treatment and pumping stations.
• Have a thorough knowledge of mechanical equipment and the ability to diagnose and correct equipment malfunction.
• Have a working knowledge of basic machinery preventive maintenance and repair.
• Have a basic knowledge of regulatory rules governing water discharges and worker’s safety
• Experience in HSE Documentation/Project Documentation (HAZOP, HAZID, Qualitative Risk Assessment, Incident Investigation & Audits).

• Report writing skills.
