A tier two Business Advisory Firm with an annual revenue target of US$5 and above that specializes in Best Practice Frameworks including Service Management, Business Analysis, IT Service Management and Project Management, located in Lagos, with oversight for the African region, is looking for qualified people to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head, Sales and Marketing

Location: Lagos

Job Description
As Head, Sales & Marketing, you will be accountable for all the Sales and Marketing initiatives of the company.
The ideal candidate should:

  • Have demonstrable experience achieving a revenue target of US$2m and above in IT and professional services solutions
  • Have an excellent understanding of account management
  • Be conversant with marketing initiative that will drive the achievement of the sales target
  • Be able to manage a sales and marketing team with diverse background, located in various cities in Nigeria.
  • Have excellent reputation in the existing client base that can jumpstart his sales target
  • Create strong relationships with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels
  • Understand the competitive landscape and market trends

Requirements
Education, Qualification and Certification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Numerate Sciences including Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Marketing etc
  • Master’s Degree in any business-related field is an advantage.
  • Ability to demonstrate approaches used for selling that achieves the desired targets is essential.
  • Ability to manage a Sales team of diverse experience is also key.

Skills, Experience and Attributes:
You need 5 to 10 years experience (either as a leader or team member) and also require:

  • Proven record of selling.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Communication (both oral and written) skills.
  • Creativity and innovation.
  • Problem-solving and strategic planning ability;
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical reasoning
  • Confidence, flexibility and ability to cope with pressure and challenges
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of business environments.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) is vital
