Job Description:

Michael Stevens Consulting - Key Compliance Officer will liaise with all regulatory bodies and agencies in connection with all activities related to the business and operations of the Company. Reviews and evaluates the current status of the Company’s compliance with all regulatory requirements with a view to identifying and addressing any lapses. Ensures that the Company’s licenses, permits and other regulatory approvals are valid and current on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

Candidates must possess the following:
1.) BSc / HND in Accounting, Finance or other related disciplines.
2.) 5 - 7 years progressive work experience in Compliance, Risk Management and Audit, garnered from reputable companies especially in the manufacturing sector
3.) 3 years of management experience with proven ability to lead and engage with Executive Management and Regulators.
4.) Strong working knowledge of the compliance risks and processes.
5.) Good working knowledge and understanding of the regulatory rules and legislation impacting the manufacturing industry.
6.) Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, to clearly express logically reasoned ideas.
7.) Conflict resolution / Problem solving skills as well as flexibility and adaptability are of key importance.
8.) Good computer literacy knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook and PowerPoint.
