Job Title: Manager, Marketing & Communications
Location: Lagos
Reports To: Chief Operations Officer
Job Summary
- Responsible for planning, development and implementation of all Verify Me Nigeria’s marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal.
- Oversees the development and implementation of support materials and services in the areas of marketing and communications.
- Directs the efforts of the marketing & communications staff and coordinates at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the company.
Qualifications
Required:
- Demonstrated skills, knowledge and/or experience in the design and execution of marketing and communications activities.
- Strong creative, strategic, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Experience writing press releases, making presentations, and negotiating with media.
- Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications.
- Computer literacy (at the very least, proficiency with Microsoft Office suite).
- Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams.
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
Other:
- 1-5 years experience in marketing, communications or public relations.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, and journalism preferred.
- Graduate degree in a related field is desirable.
