We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Production Chemist

Location: Marina, Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Job Requirements
Academic Requirement:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry or equivalent.

Years of Experience:

• 10+ years demonstrable oil & gas production chemistry experience, including drilling fluid, wet crude oil, natural gas and produced water sampling/analysis.

Professional Certification:

• Relevant professional certifications

Job Knowledge / Experience:

• Prior production operations experience will be an added advantage.

Competencies:

• Specify sampling and analysis requirements
• Optimize production chemical injection rates and frequencies
• Troubleshoot chemical injection systems and identify/ recommend improvement
• Statutory & Regulatory framework
• Communication and collaboration
• External stakeholder relationship management
• Contract management
• Ability to multi-task and deliver within tight deadlines.
