Kaduna State Residents Registration Agency (KADSRRA) was established by law on 1st March, 2018 by the administration of His Excellency Mallam Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai and inaugurated on 11th April 2019. The Agency was established to create a reliable database of all residents in the State to provide useful data for planning, financial services, education, housing, health and related matters.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Unit Head - Information and Data Management
Location: Kaduna
Job Brief
- Responsible for the smooth running of the entire IT infrastructure of the Agency. The role also entails the supervision, implementation, and maintenance of the Agency’s end-user computing needs.
- The successful candidate will have advanced skills, a proven professional experience, and a detailed knowledge of industry’s best practice processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage information technology and computer systems of the Agency.
- Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
- Manage the training, coaching and performance of IT support staff.
- Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in good time.
- Preserve assets, information security and control structures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a core ICT related discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering etc.).
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role, or 7 years’ experience in a similar role in addition to a master’s degree in a core ICT related discipline (e.g., computer science, computer engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, information technology, information systems, software engineering etc.).
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems.
- Expertise in data center management and data governance.
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation.
- Team management skills.
- Relevant professional experience and certification is an added advantage.
Remuneration
Remuneration is subject to prevailing compensation for Kaduna State Civil Servants for Grade Levels 12-14 depending on the successful candidates’ qualifications and years of experience.
