Overview

  • The Head of Sales and Marketing oversees an organization's sales and marketing programs, developing/ execution of sales and marketing targets for the organization, examining growth opportunities, enabling sales improvements, product mix development, and taking responsibility for the department's performance against organizations set targets.

Skills and Capabilities

  • Provide the strategic framework for sales, marketing & campaign direction encompassing branding, positioning and value in the market
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of the commercial strategy, strategic sales & marketing Plan and embedding sales & marketing principles and practice across the organization
  • Supervise and manage all site development project for the company
  • Structure and close complex mixed-finance deals with multiple lenders including managing due diligence processes where necessary
  • Negotiate and draft letters of intent (LOI) for lease with lessees
  • Review legal documents for structuring, risk management, and tax issues
  • Develop feasible program and structure financing to ensure projects are approved and sustainable
  • Analyze funding and development legislation, regulations, policies, and market, environments to determine applicability to projects and compatibility with other programs

Qualifications

  • First Degree from a reputable tertiary institution, in Marketing or any relevant field
  • Minimum of 7 years relevant experience, with demonstrated progressive growth
  • MSc/MBA or relevant certification is an added advantage
  • Proven experience in sales and marketing
  • Good communication skills both oral and writing
  • Good negotiations and persuasive skills
  • Customer focus orientation
  • Good business acumen
  • Ability to manage sales and marketing budget
  • Ability to motivate and lead a sizable team.
