Overview
- The Head Business Development primarily responsible for increasing the organization’s revenue by identifying and developing new business opportunities as well as expanding brand presence.
- He/ She will lead cross-functional teams, manage existing partnerships, and evaluate organization business goals.
Skills and Capabilities
- Work closely with leadership and cross functional members of management team to drive and implement corporate strategy and long-range planning based on current portfolio opportunities and risks, financing needs and organizational capabilities.
- Support business development initiatives including collaboration, assessing competitive landscape, business development, conducting due diligence, lead generation and sourcing, and financial analysis.
- Develop a sale growth strategy focused both on financial growth and customer satisfaction
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and customer needs
- Organize business meetings with prospective clients
- Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
- Build relationships with new and existing customers.
Qualifications
- First Degree from a reputable tertiary institution in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing & Sales, or related field
- MSc/MBA or relevant certification is an added advantage
- Minimum of 7 years relevant experience, with demonstrated progressive growth
- Proven experience in business development in the real estate industry knowledge
- Good stakeholder management skills
- Good negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and relationship management skill.
- In-depth understanding of sales and analysis
- Good understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance
- Good appreciation and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
