Job Title: Business Administrative Officer - Online Grocery

Job Summary

  • Our client is looking for a Business Administrative Officer to oversee day-to-day operations at grocery deliveries, and the effectiveness of the business.
  • The role involves being responsible for overseeing business operations across departments.
  • Duties include hiring team coordination, conducting office meetings, and coming up with proactive strategies to improve productivity, employee morale and customer retention.

Job Description

  • Responsible for developing strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales, and increase profitability.
  • Ensures customers needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient.
  • Ensures all products and displays are merchandised effectively to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Supervise daily operations of the business and ensure tasks are completed by staffs.
  • Ensures the store’s hygiene, housekeeping and maintenance are in line with the store’s standards, policies and procedure.
  • Responsible for recruiting strategy to provide optimal staffing in all areas.
  • Monitor store inventory and update inventory logs.
  • Reconcile store transactions and prepare bank deposits.
  • Oversee all grocery staff members, this includes resolving employee disputes, assigning duties and disciplining or firing staff as needed.
  • Ensures the day-to-day cash operations and security measures comply with company policy and procedures
  • Ensure the work facility is safe, free of security issues and in compliance with all government regulations
  • Ensure that the store milestones are met and adhering to approved budgets.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with executives and other managers.
  • Design and implement procedures to improve profitability.
  • Reports to respective managers and relevant authorities any breach of store policy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or any related field 
  • 3+ years of a experience in a similar role, and having experience in a similar business is a plus 
  • Expertise with social media management and content creation
  • Technology savvy
  • Superior organizational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Comfort working in a remote and self-directed position
  • Experience in Business Administration and management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication style.
