Job Description

Work closely with Head, Performance Management on all Nigeria branch and channel performance related analytics, MIS and reporting. Maintain a detailed report and be a point of reference on branch and channel performance information for Nigeria

Key Roles & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for monitoring and preparation of all Distribution MIS reports for Nigeria – branch and channel
  • Responsible for maintaining a robust MIS and tracking performance of branches against their budgeted numbers across all solutions.
  • Coordinate monthly review of the performance of branches and branch staff by analyzing their individual FLIP ratings.
  • Effectively coordinate and track all activities country wide as assigned by Head, Performance Management
  • Prepare monthly business presentations for the Cluster Heads and Head, Distribution.
  • Arrange and coordinate the monthly and quarterly performance review sessions.
  • Maintain important records for branch staff in the region.
  • To be a point of contact for any MIS related issues that may arise from branches.
  • Provide complete, accurate and timely management information to the business stakeholders to aid their strategic planning, development and management of their businesses.
  • Contribute to strategic channel management by analyzing and interpreting channel MIS data and providing this analysis and interpretation.
  • Maintain standard data definition, dictionary and business rules and logic to ascertain consistency in the derivation of business performance metrics across all business streams to ensure a single version of the truth in the business information management reporting.
  • Work closely with Head, Performance Management in the target mapping exercise for the branches.
  • Responsible for Budgeting and forecasting and generation of all relevant reports in a timely manner for business consumption
  • Collaborate with SBIM and finance to ensure all analytics needs for the distribution team are met in a timely manner
  • Coordinating logistics required for all performance management meetings / reviews with branches, channels and or RMs
Qualifications & Skills
  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar discipline
  • Sound knowledge in MIS, data warehousing related reporting and analysis; and experience in datamart design, development and implementation
  • Extensive and proven relational database experience using but not limited to SQL Server.
  • Good knowledge of our banking products/services and front end core banking systems will be an added advantage
  • Financial literacy is an added advantage
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with various units for effective delivery of outputs
  • Team player, proactive, work independently and willing to learn in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and establish good working relationships with people at all levels in a matrix organization.
  • Ability to identify key issues and overcome barriers
  • Good track history with delivering results to the business
  • Self-starter who is also a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to build relationships in a matrix organization.
  • Can think logically and pay close attention to detail, full of patience and persistence
  • Willingness to take on more responsibilities and other areas of work showing initiative to learn new ideas.
