Taghini Foods is a traditional poultry processing Company based in Ibadan. We supply fresh and frozen poultry products to wholesalers, caterers and further processors, including products suitable for Halal customers.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Resident Veterinarian
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Certify animals for slaughter.
- Assist in application of the Cores of Food Safety and Quality in general operations.
- Participate in Poultry health Management.
- Give guideline to best safety practices.
- Assist in preparation and implementation of a workable HACCP plan.
- Research and apply modern practices on broiler production and chicken processing.
- Other duties as may be assigned.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (D.V.M).
- Must have 2 - 3 years work experience in poultry farming.
- Candidates residing within Ibadan and ready to resume on short notice preferred.
