The company is seeking to fill the vacant position of:

Job Title: Factory Operations Manager

Location:
Lagos

Job Description:
  • Plans and coordinates the overall operations in the factory.
  • Ensures optimal allocation and full utilization of resources available at the factory to meet budgeted targets.
  • Ensures that products of the factory are of the specified quality and quantity that will meet the stipulated standards.
  • Ensures that installed machinery and fittings are constantly maintained and repaired for optimal capacity utilization.
  • Ensures that operating procedures are followed such that will engender the safety and security of machinery and workers in the factory.
  • Ensures that the morale of workers/staff at the factory are high at all times.
  • Designs and implements cost control and cost saving programs that will ensure the achievements of planned production targets using the most cost-effective strategies.
  • Ensures that production activities and material utilization follow the laid down procedures and processes that will emphasize accountability at all facets of the factory operations.
  • Ensures that records of production, cost and financial activities are effectively maintained such that will engender effective management information generation.
  • Ensures that financial accountability is maintained in the factory.
  • Supervises all the managers in the factory.
  • Initiates strategies that will ensure continuous high level of productivity in the factory.
  • Liaises with other departments to enhance production performance.
  • Executes special and assigned projects in the company.
  • Involved in the initiation of the company’s business plan as related to production planning.
  • Performs such other related functions as may be assigned by the General Manager.
Qualification:
  • Degree in Production or Engineering & Equivalent.
  • Possession of other appropriate professional certificates and membership of relevant Professional bodies an added advantage.
  • Experience – not less than 7 years in production.
Training:
Executive Workshop in Production Technology
