We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cook

Location: Ode Remo, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in the preparation of meals
• Assist in market purchase for the restocking of the kitchen
• Assist in maintaining accurate food inventories
• Restock kitchen for subsequent meal preparation
• He/she must be able to prepare both continental and local delicacies
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, etc)
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to prepare meals

Requirements

• He/She should possess an HND / B.Sc in Food Science and Technology or relevant qualifications in catering and Hotel Management with practical experience
• 5 years work experience
• Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures
• Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere
• Basic knowledge of the use of computer packages (MS Word, MS Excel, e.t.c)

Skills:

• Proven experience in cooking different types of cuisines (both local and intercontinental dishes)
• Knowledge of a variety of dietary lifestyles and restrictions
• Good communication skills
• Food safety training or certification

Location:

• Candidate must reside around Shagamu, Ode-Remo, Ijebu Ode, and environs for the purpose of proximity.

Salary
N70,000 - N90,000 monthly.
