Strongmas Automobile was established as a company limited by shares for the supply of cars, automotive spare parts, services and maintenance among others.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Spare Part & Procurement Manager

Location: Lekki - Ajah, Lagos

Job Description

• Versatile to source, negotiate and purchase auto parts from local vendors.
• Evaluate the vendor's quote to ensure it is line with the technical requirements of the company
• Look up and match parts numbers with the vehicle details given as per requisition.
• Examine returned parts for defects, and exchange defective parts or refund money.
• Survey efficiently the spare parts markets for competitive substitutes
• Implement internal procurement strategies to cater cost reduction, short lead times and timely response to the company
• Develop and maintain relations with vendors to ensure best discounts and deliveries requirements
• Develops, enforces, and monitors guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
• Understands keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state and local regulations that may affect parts sales.
• Maintains professional appearance.
• Updating and maintaining inventory register online
• Review Purchase Requisitions
• Arranging the warehouse/store
• Cary out other duties as assigned by management periodically.

Requirements

• OND or HND in Mechanical Engineering or Purchase & Supply or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3-6 years’ experience in Procurement of Automotive/vehicle spare parts
• Must have strong contract negotiation and management skills.
• Must be Technically sound with adequate understanding of automobile engineering.
• Highly organised and experienced spare parts officers required to handle the inventory of different spare parts from different automotive brands.
• Candidate must be familiar with basic automotive components and possess above-average competency working with electronic parts catalogues (EPC).
• Must be conversant with store layouts and adept at storage and binning techniques.
• Experience of purchasing and Supply logistics in international ordering will be a clear advantage.
• Average level proficiency in word and excel is mandatory.
• Must be honest, transparent and have integrity.
