Givanas Group of Companies is specialized in manufacturing and distributing Fast Moving Consumer Goods such as Milk, tea, canned sea food, bath soap and a lot more in order to satisfy the Nigerian market through Nigerian distributors and customers.

We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Junior Production Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of all employees
• Ensure optimal execution of operations by achieving targets in terms of occupational health and safety, production capacity, standardization of operating costs and quality
• Establish and apply standardized production practices and procedures to achieve your unit’s objectives
• Engage and develop the workforce
• Maintain a safe environment for its employees and eliminate risks
• Scrupulously apply business processes
• Implement processes and tools to foster a culture of continuous improvement within your sector
• Ensure that conditions are in place for constant communication with employees (floor rounds, logbooks, etc.)
• Actively participate in the creation and implementation of optimization and investment projects
• Help to implement your business unit’s strategic plan

Your Background and Strengths

• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in the manufacturing sector
• Leadership and a collaborative spirit that inspire and engage teams to achieve excellence
• Sound judgment to ensure follow-up and effective implementation of solutions in accordance with company priorities and to make appropriate decisions
• Ability to carry out a number of projects simultaneously while respecting deadlines and priorities
• Strong communication skills, tact and diplomacy
