We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Structural Engineer
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
The ideal candidates is expected to:
- Prepare reports, designs, and drawings
- Make calculations about pressures and loads, and stresses
- Consider the strength of construction materials and select appropriately
- Obtain planning and/or building regulations approval
- Monitor and inspect all work undertaken by contractors to ensure structural soundness
- Administer contracts and manage projects
- Liaise with professional staff such as architects and engineers
- Inspect properties to evaluate the conditions and foundations.
- Analyze configurations of the basic components of a structure.
Qualifications
- A Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience.
Competences:
- Great analytical and Mathematical skills
- Budgeting and projects management skills
- Problem-solving skill
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Advance knowledge of construction methods, materials and legal regulations.
