We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Data Center Power System Technician

Locations: Abuja, Kano, Lagos and Rivers
Department: Data Centre Operations.
Status: Outsourced role
Work Schedule: Mon- Fri (8am -5pm)

Job Requirements

• Academic Qualification: At least HND in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, or other related discipline.

Functional Skills:

• Industry certification or training in Electrical Power systems installation, maintenance, or repairs.
• Knowledge of equipment installation, electrical and mechanical repairs,welding and fabrication, safety and compliance.
• Troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Ability to tolerate temperature below 20 degree C for extended periods of time

Work experience:

• At least 3 years experience of previous work experience in a Data Center Operation environment or equivalent.
• Experience trouble shooting breakdowns and repairing electrical power system devices and components.
• Experience with portable Appliance Test System.
• Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling and associated maintenance work.
• Experience with Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools will be an advantage.
