Job Title: Market Operations Executive

Job Responsibilities

• Join as early team member to help build out eCommerce processes and instill merchandising and operational best practices
• Structure complex and ambiguous strategic problems
• Identify issues, develop hypotheses, and execute in-depth analyses to translate data into actionable insights and make recommendations based on your findings
• Perform ad hoc analyses, conducting research, and building reports and KPI dashboards for real-time monitoring of performance
• Develop effective and scalable operational processes and fill operational gaps
• Develop, monitor, write and update product content contained on eCommerce websites/portals.
• Develop subject matter expertise in assigned product categories and take ownership of daily business administration on assigned accounts.
• Cultivate standards, systems and best practices for content creation, distribution, maintenance, and new product listings.
• Work with product management, sales, graphics, and other relevant departments to provide updated content for assigned accounts to be shared across eCommerce platforms.
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of account-specific SEO best practices, pricing policies, media assets, inventory and/or pre-orders.
• Multi-task, prioritize and successfully meet several deadlines at once while maintaining attention to detail.
• Possess a strong knowledge of the eCommerce space including competitive strategies, marketing strategies, product development, consumer research, usability best practices, and industry trends.
• Use Spreadsheets or Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups etc) in addition to web analytics to stay organized and monitor changes in product sales and identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of experience across consulting, investment banking, business operations, or business analytics; ideally with eCommerce industry exposure
• You are analytical and data-driven -- you can define KPIs and measure progress/success of your initiatives
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently
• Agile individual with the ability to work autonomously in a demanding and ambiguous environment; you want to work in a fast-paced environment with constant change
• Ability to flex between analytical, strategic, and operational aspects of the job
• Resourceful and happy to roll up your sleeves to get any job done
• Excellent organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
• Superior Excel / Sheets skills are a hard requirement (must know V-Lookups & Pivot tables); knowledge of SQL strongly preferred.

Salary
Competitive (N250,000 - N400,000 / month).
