We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Manager (Freight Forwarding)

Location: Lagos

Role Summary

  • Drive sales in terms of import and export (Sea Freight).
  • Responsible for agreed sales/income targets and KPIs.
  • To drive and achieve top-line revenue for OnePort365 Ltd in the short run.
  • To set the Growth (Sales) process for the successful delivery of OnePort365 MVP deliverable.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Set up a sustainable winning sales department that can deliver a minimum of 30%* growth in top-line revenue. This would involve recruiting, onboarding, training and coaching colleagues who are target.
  • Driven, client-driven, and understand the “OnePort” way of doing business.
  • To lead on implementation, reporting and reviewing of the strategic and operational sales plan to drive sales and revenue.
  • Develop & implement the rudiments of a successful sales organization starting with the structure through to key deliverables.
  • Implement a “sales process” that can be deemed as the “OnePort” way, and can be replicated across all channels as we expand
  • Monitor and ensure the successful delivery of the commercial department’s sales figures (daily – annually).
  • To be a key player in the development of the ‘go-to market’ sales strategy.
  • To lead on delivering a best-in-class client experience that ensures customer retainer-ship and a key driver of connecting our African clients to global trade A
  • Actively sell our story to 3PL vendors; regularly review to ensure quality and the deliverables are constantly met.
  • Develop from scratch, a top-level CRM process/ tool that can produce a “wow” factor in every one of our dealings with clients.
  • Plan and implement the departmental annual calendar of activities including campaign activities, launches/promotions, fundraising initiatives, special events for the purpose of maximizing sales opportunities.
