Job Title: Site In-Charge

Location: Benin City, Edo
Reporting to: Managing Director

Role Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the successful and timely implementation of the project in Benin.
• Overall responsibility of functions like civil, electrical and instrumentation, mechanical and piping etc.
• To ensure that all sections of the proposed distillery come up in a coordinated manner.
• Provide local leadership to the Functional Heads working on the project and also the plethora of contractors and Technical Consultants involved in the project.
• Ensure that activities of the main technology supplier and also the various vendors of equipment and utilities gets completed in a seamless manner.
• Ensure a safety culture of men and materials.
• Ensure that the incoming raw materials / equipment is stored safely and issued in line with the requirements of the various end users.
• Maintain close liaison with the communities and the local authorities etc , so that activities move in a coordinated manner.
• Facilitate the mechanical completion of the plant and followed by the pre commissioning and commissioning of the plant in time.
• An ideal candidate may also be considered to handle production process, on successful implementation of the project.

Specification
Experience and Qualifications:

• A Degree in Chemical Engineering, with 15 - 20 years’ experience in working in distilleries / process related industries and preferably, with a hands on experience in project implementation.
