Job Title: Head of Bar
Location: Warri, Delta State
Sex: Male/Female
Experience: 1-2 years
Age: 30 years
Job Description:
To supervise all areas of the Bar. To make every effort to ensure that the real cost of drinks is as near to the theoretical cost of the Bar as possible. To contact suppliers to stock the Bar. Makes sure that the guests receive an excellent service at the bar.
Requirements
- Should have a minimum of one year in bar-tending experience
- A minimum of OND or HND standard or similar in Hotel or Tourism studies is required.
- They should possess problem-solving skills
- Organizational skills and communication skills.
- Other management experience or training experience is an advantage.
Roles:
- Recruiting, training and motivating your staff
- Doing regular stock-takes and ordering as necessary
- Handling deliveries
- Maintaining the condition of beer and wine
- Overseeing or liaising with the kitchen
- Keeping up to date with licensing legislation, liaising with the authorities and taking overall legal responsibility for the premises
- Enforcing health and safety rules
- Adhering to budgets, increasing profits and managing cash flow
- Dealing with difficult customers
