Job Description
- Come join the IET team to execute the operations of a Business Development Officer for the organization. As a key member of the IET team, you will work with the Head of Tech, Growth and Innovation.
- You will be responsible for the best strategic and financial outcomes for the organisation. This dynamic position requires the ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions to problems with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth.
- Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives.
- Researching prospective accounts in target markets.
- Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle
- Developing growth strategies and plans
- Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
- Increasing client base
- Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition.
- Writing business proposals
- Negotiating with stakeholders
- Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs.
- Researching business opportunities and viable income streams.
- Following Industry trends locally and internationally.
- Drafting and Reviewing contracts
- Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements.
- Manage other projects/duties as assigned for the overall benefit of the organization.
Requirements
- B.Sc / BA in business administration or any relevant field
- Proven 3 years working experience as a Business Development Manager or Sales Executive or any relevant role.
- Proven sales track record
- Experience in Customer Support is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
- Proficiency in English
- Market knowledge
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build rapport
- Time management and planning skills.
Salary
N120,000 - N150,000 monthly.
