Job Summary
- We are seeking to fill the role of a Content Analyst. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, proofreading, re-structuring, and editing contents intended for the organisation’s products across all platforms.
- He / She will be responsible for producing marketing copy, creating content about industry-related topics, and updating the company’s products with new content across all platforms.
- Ultimately, the role holder will be a member of the content team ensuring effective development, delivery, and management of relevant content that appeal to target audiences, attract customers, and boost brand awareness.
Job Description
- Manage the successful implementation of approved content development and delivery plan.
- Provide regular progress reports on the plan implementation.
- Responsible for product research including data collection on users, competitors & the marketplace, and the consolidation of information into actionable items, reports, and presentations for decision support.
- Review and upgrade existing content to increase user engagement and product stickiness.
- Create, proofread and edit written pieces (blog post, social media posts, et al) for grammar and style before publication.
- Upload content into the product portals.
- Script and edit content for motion pictures.
- Maintain and update comprehensive content inventory.
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone) across platforms.
- Develop and execute approved calendar of activities.
- Perform periodic content audits to keep content relevant and engaging.
Basic Selection Criteria
- Applicant must be a Batch C Stream 1 Corps Member currently deployed to Lagos State.
- Must possess a Second-Class Upper Division from a recognized institution.
- Candidate must not be older than 28 years.
- Experience working as a writer, blogger, editor, or similar role is preferred.
- Must have a good understanding of data and quality of content and ability to improve it.
- Must have a proven design aesthetic with attention to detail.
