Job Description

  • We are looking for an experienced Business Development Executive to join our team! As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for strategic and operational business development.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring company’s growth objectives are attained; articulating new business development opportunities, identifying and managing relationships with existing and new international partners in line with corporate goals.
  • Identify prospects and develop sales strategies to penetrate and get to know the stakeholders’ organizations within the oil and gas sector.
  • Identify current projects for stakeholders in selected organizations and projects.
  • Identify the stages of the activities of the current and prospective projects for identified IOCs and local players in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Engage the clients on LinkedIn, celebrate the stakeholders.
  • Categorize companies and projects, have a breakdown of every aspect of their activities.
  • Assist in preparation of PowerPoint presentations.
  • Ensure effective team performance management by setting SMART objectives for individuals and regularly reviewing progress against these, taking corrective action where necessary.
  • Knowledge of bids and tenders packaging for opportunities in the oil and gas space.
  • Responsible for Vendor registration and processing.
  • Development list of suitable technical partners for anticipated opportunities.
  • Assist the Business Development and Commercial managers on document control
  • Liaise with Commercial manager on regulatory and compliance structure for ISO certification, SOMA, statutory and regulatory authorities.
  • Oversee internal communications with all line managers and directors and ensure full compliance with team members.
  • Overall reporting management.
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities and feasibility reports, supporting growth based on intelligence.
  • Experience in DPR and Nipex portal administration
  • Develop and manage tracker for regulatory and statutory requirements
  • And any other assigned task.

Preferred Background and Experience

  • Minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field in a federal university
  • At least 2 / 3 years experience working as a business development executive
  • Must have strong track record of success within sales.
  • Must be highly goal oriented and possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Must have a strong experience within consultative sales and possess the ability to prospect and manage senior level relationships.
