The University of Agriculture invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Provost of the College of MedicalSciences, Otukpo Campus.
We are recruiting to fill the position of:
Job Title: Provost
Job Location: Benue
Responsibilities:
- The Provost shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor, University of Agriculture, Makurdi for matters related to effective administration of the Campus, including academic programmes, staff, students, resources, budgets and relationship with the larger University Community and external bodies.
Requirements
- The Provost must be a medically qualified Professor in keeping with the requirement of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
- The Provost should be a strategic leader capable of managing a substantial complex, growing organization. Ideally, the candidate must come from an academic Medical setting with adequate administrative experience.
- Candidate must possess MBBS/MBBCH/MD as basic Medical qualificalion or equivalent degree.
- Candidate must be a Professor of not less than 5 years postProfessorial experience.
- Candidate must have a Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College or its equivalent in any of the Medical and Dental specialities/disciplines.
- Candidate must be registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria with a current practicing license.
- Possession of a Doctorate degree in a relevant discipline is an added advantage.
- Good physicalaid mental health

The Condition of Service is as defined in University of Agriculture, Makurdi Conditions of Service and other Colleges of Medical Sciences in the Federal Universities of Nigeria.
