Job Description
  • The incumbent will be expected to achieve financial targets for assigned territory, utilise market intelligence to projects that hold potential, build rapport with key members of projects.
  • Utilise all levels within BASF Construction Chemicals and the BASF Group to help penetrate projects and maximise revenue opportunities.
  • Work closely with distributors and applicators to ensure best service offering to prospect and customer base.
  • Assist in providing product and industry knowledge to ensure that there is a seamless interface between the customer, BASF Construction Chemicals, distributors, and applicators.
  • Help to resolve potential conflicts within the process. Provide sales, stock and forecasting information as required.
  • Any other duties to fulfill the role.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • The suitable incumbent should posses a relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering or Chemistry and possess an in-depth knowledge of construction and building practices.
  • Fluent in Chinese and English.
  • Good communication skills, strong organisational skills, ability to plan own time, develop and maintain systems, work on priorities.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills, good interpersonal skills wit ability to relate to people at all levels of the organisation.
  • Capable of relating to many different personality types and nationalities, and build relationships.
  • Needs to have strong persuasion and selling skills and solid technical expertise to support these skills.
  • Good technology skills.
