Job Title: Tanker Driver - Mack Truck
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Description
- Transport Petroleum products to customers at designated locations across Nigeria.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and report issues for preventive maintenance.
- Follow journey management plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods etc.) as well as with company policies and procedures.
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
- Collect and verify delivery instructions.
- Report defects, accidents or violations.
- Collect / issue waybills and deliver invoices.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification with 5 - 10 years experience.
- Must have experience in haulage of petroleum products and of the different depots around Nigeria.
- Must be able to submit good references from previous employers.
- Must have a valid driver's licence.
