We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chemist

Location: Asaba, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Preparing test solutions.
• Analyzing organic and inorganic compounds
• Conducting quality control tests.
• Conduct research and explore how products, processes, and equipment may be improved.
• Maintaining laboratory instruments, troubleshooting malfunctions, and purchasing new laboratory supplies.
• Evaluating and ensuring compliance with laboratory safety procedures and standards.
• Develop, improve and customize equipment, products, formulas, analytical methods and processes
• Consult with engineers and scientists on analysis, interpretation and development of tests
• Induce reactions to chemical substances with light, energy, heat and chemical catalysts
• Document findings in technical papers and reports, preparing specifications and testing standards
• Order laboratory supplies and chemicals, keeping an eye on expiration dates.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry / Biochemistry and other related Disciplines.
• Practical work experience as a Chemist in related Sector/Industry (5 years minimum)
