Action Against Hunger (ACF)-USA is part of the ACF-International Network which works to save lives by combating hunger and diseases that threaten the lives of vulnerable communities, through nutrition, food security, water and sanitation, health and advocacy.

ACF Nigeria is opening a multi-sectorial emergency humanitarian program in Yobe State and is looking for experienced candidates for the below positions. All candidates should be willing and able to be based in and travel regularly within remote areas, where services are limited.

ACF Nigeria is looking for suitable candidates for the vacant position of:

Job Title: WASH Deputy Program Manager

Location:
Yobe State

Job Description

Support in implementing the WASH program successfully, manage the WASH teams; support in monitoring and reporting of WASH interventions; contribute to the identification, definition and formulation of WASH projects through assessments, surveys arid proposal writing; recruitment, capacity building and coaching of field staff.

Qualification & Skills

Degree in Geological, hydraulic, hydrology, engineering, public health or equivalent in a field related to WASH, previous experience with WASH programming in both soft and hardware as well as assessing, reviewing and monitoring technical project 3+ years, relevant work experience. Fluency in English required, fluency in Hausa preferred
