Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement occupational health and safety systems, including policies, procedures and manuals.
- Review internal HSE policies, procedures and practices to ensure they are current and accurate; conduct hazard and risk assessments and change existing, or develop new recommendations from these assessments.
- Maintain an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge and prepare across the company to create a culture that prioritizes effective nd balances overall associated costs.
- Conduct site audits and visits to all company's projects and facilities to ensure compliance with HSE requirements and HSE management system.
- Conduct pre-occupational risk assessments on new project sites and design risk mitigation measures.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A good first degree and a relevant post graduate qualification, preferably relevant certification and/or an MBA will be an added advantage.
- A minimum often (10) years industrial safety experience in managing projects and large scale operations.
- High degree of conversance with international HSE requirements in the oil and gas industry.
