Job Title: Technical Sales Executive

Job Description

  • Ensures achievement of monthly and annual sales targets
  • Promote products and services to customers
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through calling, networking, and social media
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Review sales performance and create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
  • Organizing sales visits; preparing and delivering appropriate presentations on products and services
  • Prepares, submits, and discusses Sales Reports, Sales Bookings (Sales Order Slips), and Expense Report/s.
  • Participate in weekly Sales and Operations meetings to discuss concerns in relation to sales activities.
  • Assists the Accounting and Finance Department, particularly the Credit and Collection Department, in collecting and/or setting aged receivables.
  • Ensures overdue and due invoices are collected when it becomes due for collection.
  • Advises the Accounts and management on the reason for the non-collection of due and/or overdue invoices, especially with B2B customers.
  • Negotiates with the client to commit payment for due invoices.
  • Ensures invoices given are immediately submitted to the client for countering to ensure timely collection.
  • Ensure stock availability
  • Hands-on supervision of all workshop activities, especially technical issues.
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
  • Aiming to achieve monthly or annual targets.
  • Benchmarks and monitors competitor’s actions and strategies.
  • Contributes ideas and suggestions towards improving total marketing efforts
  • Assists in plant visits and other company sales activities.
  • Performs other related functions that may be assigned by the Line Manager from time to time.

Qualifications

  • OND or HND in Mechanical or any other relevant technical discipline
  • Working knowledge of automobiles
  • Proven experience as a Sales Executive, workshop supervisor or any relevant role with at least one year experience in a similar business
  • Proficiency in English
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office especially MS Excel
  • Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
  • Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Fast learner and passion for sales
  • Must be computer literate
  • Must be results-oriented, team player, articulate, reliable, and trustworthy
  • Must be good in both verbal and written communication  
  • Must be able to work under pressure
  • Must be able to work under minimal supervision
  • Must have no travel limitations
  • Orientation on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP)  
  • Passion with sales.
