The Monitoring and Evaluation Management Services (MEMS) II five-year Task Order was awarded to The Mitchell Group Inc. (TMG) by the Nigeria Mission of the United States Agency for International Development in October 2010 to provide comprehensive monitoring and evaluation support services to the Mission, serving Strategic Objective Teams and Implementing Partners in the full set of programs.

MEMS II is seeking professional Nigerian consultants qualified to work on consulting assignments in the positions listed below:

Job Title: Health Site Surveyors (Mid-level)

Description
  • USAID/Nigeria's Monitoring & Evaluation Management Services (MEMS) II project provides support to the Mission and its Implementing Partners in performance management, evaluation and learning across a wide range of activities in the USAID Program Cycle, and in development and implementation of knowledge management tools.
Tasks:
  • Participate as surveyors during site visits to primary, secondary or tertiary health facilities receiving PEPFAR support.
  • Conduct questionnaires integrated into a comprehensive site improvement monitoring system (SIMS) under the supervision of Senior M&E Advisors.
  • Upload survey results into a portal-based database.
Qualifications

Required:
  • B.Sc in Biological Sciences, Social Sciences, Business, Geography, Accounting, Statistics or related field and a minimum of 3 years working in a professional environment.
  • Excellent in written and spoken English language, and at least one Nigerian national language.
Preferred:
  • Experience working with USAID or other donors in Nigeria.
  • Experience with HIV/AIDS & TB prevention & treatment programs.
