Job Title: Facility Management and Admin Officer
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
Facility Management:
- Planning and coordinating of all installations and refurbishments in the factory
- Providing oversight for the procurement of some materials and supplies that may be required for daily operation and maintenance of the facilities
- Managing the upkeep of equipment, vehicles and supplies to meet health and safety standards in the factory
- Inspecting buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations
- Reviewing utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs
- Supervising all staff facilities staff (technicians, groundskeepers, security, drivers) and external contractors
- Conduct project planning, execution & project control
- Controlling activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security etc.
Office Administration:
- Monitoring and maintaining office equipment, inventory supplies; orders replacement supplies as needed
- Ensure fleet availability to meet all requests by scheduling, forecasting, and surveying current user trends
- Updating of office admin policies and procedures
- Preparing reports on expenses, office budgets, and other expenditures
- Supporting department managers, staff, and MD
- Organizing conference room scheduling, equipment, and cleaning
- Overseeing and preparing expense reports and budgets
- Arrange travel documents and accommodations for all staff.
Requirements
- Minimum of First Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or any related discipline.
- Postgraduate degree is an added advantage
- Minimum of 3 years experience in factory management or related fields
- Good experience of following procedures for data input, retrieval, and documentation control
- Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service
- Excellent procurement and negotiation skills
- Good knowledge in use of Microsoft Office with sound ability to analyse data
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
