Job Title: Data Analyst

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Job Description

  • We are seeking an enquiring, precise data analyst to contribute to the design and build of analytic solutions that will inform business decisions, drive operations, measure our performance and validate our value as a company.
  • Healthcare data is complex and vast, so you must be excited about sinking your teeth into complex problems, untangling them and communicating your findings to the team. Behind every data, an element is a real person, with real problems that mDoc is working hard to address, and the Data team is responsible for delivering accurate and timely information to steer these efforts.
  • If you like hard problems, have experience pulling insight out of complex structured and unstructured data sources, and are an amazing teammate, we want to hear from you!
  • The ideal candidate will use their passion for big data and analytics to provide insights to the business covering a range of topics.
  • They will be responsible for conducting both recurring and ad hoc analyses for business users.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding business objectives and developing models that help to achieve them, along with metrics to track their progress
  • Work with clinical, operational and research leaders to identify levers for broad system change, pull them, and measure the results
  • Perform complex descriptive analyses over production-scale data sets to drive business decisions
  • Build out our real-time reporting dashboards and own early data tooling across Clinical, Product, and Customer Success verticals
  • Design reports steering our value-driven business lines, including traditional and nontraditional success metrics. Work with our clinical operations team to design robust evaluation models
  • Work with the clinical, tech teams daily.

Qualifications

  • Experience building data products using industry-standard tools
  • Experience with Jupyter notebook and related data vis packages
  • Comfort across a range of data analysis toolsets (Python, R, SAS, SPSS)
  • Excellent at data visualization using Power BI
  • Deep understanding of structured and unstructured databases such as SQL and
  • MongoDB.
