Job Title: Financial Controller

Job Summary

  • The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing all finance and accounting operations, coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances, preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements.
  • Responsibilities would also include the development of internal control policies and procedures as well as financial risk management and also managing internal and external audits and corrective actions.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support in preparation of the ABP with all templates for Group submission.
  • Accurate submission of the Monthly MPR.
  • Regular review of ERP functionalities.
  • Proper and Accurate book-keeping and closure of Monthly Accounts with Inter-Co. reconciliation.
  • Manage the reconciliation of all ledger accounts prior to month-end.
  • Accurate closure of Annual Accounts in compliance with IAS & IFRS with all proper accruals and provisions along with Confirmation of Balances, BRS and All Schedules.
  • Coordinate with Auditors, Lead Statutory Audit exercise, make all documents and systems available including tax computation.
  • Ensure proper Systems and Processes, Internal Controls & Compliance.
  • Coordinate with Internal and External Auditors and drive corrective actions arising from the audits.
  • Ensure all statutory returns are filed on time and compliance adhered to.
  • Coordinate with different Government Authorities on matters related to taxes and duties.
  • Ensure Company's assets and related risks are properly covered.
  • Active participation in Cost optimization Project.
  • Support in all matters w.r.t. arrangement and deployment of funds for the CP Project.
  • Support the Valuation Exercise and issue of share capital.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • An MBA/M.Sc will be desired.
  • Minimum of 15 years experience in the manufacturing industry (especially in the food and beverage industry).
