Note:
(i) Entry Qualifications for HND (Evening) and HND (Weekend; Fridays & Saturdays) Programes:

The entry requirements for the programmes are exclusively National Diploma or National Innovation Diploma in the appropriate discipline except for:

(a) All the HND in the Department Mineral Resource Engineering:
National Diploma shall be in Mineral Engineering.

(b) HND Business Administration & Management (Weekend):
National Diploma Business Administration or Business Studies, Accounting, Financial Studies, Marketing, Purchasing & Supply or Insurance. Candidates admitted with ND other than in Business Administration or Business Studies will be required to take some NDII Business Administration courses.

(c) HND Human Resources:
National Diploma Business Studies, Financial Studies, Secretary Studies, Social Development, Local Government Studies, Cooperative Economics & Management, Marketing or Public Administration and SSC/NBC with credits in English Language and Mathematics and three credits from Economic, Business Studies, Principles of Accounts, Commerce, Statistics, Geography, Government, Biology or Agricultural Science or evidence of Pre-ND with five passes in the same subject.

(d) HND Production and Operations Management:
National Diploma Business Studies, Financial Studies, Banking, Marketing, Catering and Hotel Management, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Estate Management. Textile Technology/Fashion Design, Printing Technology and SSC/NBC with credits in English language and Mathematics and three credits from Economics, Business Studies, Principles of Accounts, Commerce, Statistics, Geography, Government, Biology or Agricultural Science or evidence of Pre-ND with five passes in the same subjects.

(e) In addition to the National Diploma, candidates must have five ‘O’ level credits in subjects relevant to the programme including English and Mathematics or Pro-ND with five ‘O’ level passes in subjects relevant to the programme including English and Mathematics.

(ii) Candidates with ND at Lower Credit and above must have one year post qualification industrial work experience while those with ND Pass must have two years post qualification work experience.

(iii) Candidates for HND Weekend Programmes mast have attained the age of 28 as at the time of application.

(iv) Duration:
Four semesters for Evening Programmes and six semesters for Weekend Programmes.

(v) National Diploma Programmes (Evening Only)
(a) Entry Qualification:


SSC/NTC/NBC Five Credits including English Language and Mathematics and the other credits must be relevant to the programme as contained in JAMB brochure. Furthermore, candidates must have sat for the 2013 or 2014 JAMB UTME and obtained at least 150 points.

(b) Duration: Four semesters


(vi) HND and ND Evening Programmes shall run on Mondays to Fridays between 3.00 p.m. and 8,00 p.m. while HND Weekend programmes shall run on Fridays between 3.00 p.m. and 8.00 p.m. and Saturdays between 8.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m.

(vii) NDII Direct Admission:
Prospective candidates with ANTC/ANBC/Polytechnic Diploma/ University Diploma with five relevant ‘0’ level Credits including Mathematics and English may be considered for admission into NDII direct.

No. 0021231796, UBA- Acct. No. 1007591881 Mainstreet Bank - Acct. No. 6500256647, or Kaduna Polytechnic Microfinance Bank - Acct. No.030300858, pay N4,500 and N1,000 bank charges and obtain tellers after which they log again into the school portal to apply for the admission.
