Job Title: Strategic Account Manager - Jumia Advertising

Job Objective

  • As Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a comprehensive Joint Business Plan with the aim of growing Sales through exclusivity and pushing our competition out of the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the relationship with strategic partners (Joint Business Plans) for anything related to Marketing & Advertising.
  • Define the advertising budget for strategic partners based on their sales ambition.
  • Optimize the advertising budget to reach visibility/sales targets tied to it: build knowledge on Marketing channel efficiency, recommend budget split based on those, animate the brand with monthly campaigns and define value proposition hand in hand with the commercial team, report on performance.
  • Work closely with the AdOps & marketing team to ensure flawless execution and optimization of ongoing campaigns.
  • Pitch advertising services to strategic partners prospect.

Qualification and Requirements

  • 5+ years FMCG experience ideally from a multinational and with regional experience.
  • Action-oriented and performance-driven.
  • Strong management and inter-personal skills.
  • Good analytical and data management skills.
  • Ability to anticipate, structure and organize.
  • Well organized and very detail-oriented.
  • Resistant to stress.
  • Autonomous.
  • Finding simple solutions to complex problems.
