Our company, an indigenous player in the oil and gas downstream sector is now expanding its operations into tank farm operations. We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Depot Manager in our tank farm.

Job Title: Depot Manager

Location:
Ikot Abasi, Akwa Ibom State

Responsibilities
  • Overall strategic management of the depot to ensure peak performance, profitability and full compliance to internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Managing the operations of the petroleum products tank farm, including the receipt of vessels/cargo at the jetty, loading and other general tank farm activities.
  • Management of other strategic business activities of the tank farm, including business planning, sales and distribution, customer service, and performance tracking, while ensuring the regular maintenance and effective functioning of all facilities and equipment in the tank farm.
  • Manage relationships with regulatory agencies, clients, community representatives and other stakeholders in the industry
Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate must possess a good Bachelor degree or HND in Petroleum or Chemical Engineering or other related engineering discipline.
  • Must have minimum of 10 years experience, at least 5 of which must be at Managerial capacity.
  • Relevant postgraduate or professional certification will be an added advantage.
  • Must have a full understanding of the global best practices and value chain functioning of the energy sector, must be astute in strategic thinking and planning, must possess exceptional Managerial and Leadership skills and must be an effective team builder and team player.
