Summary of the Job
- Responsible for developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet agreed company objectives.
- To evaluate customer research, market conditions, competitor data and implement marketing plan alterations as needed.
- To oversees all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities.
Job Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assumes overall responsibility for developing the annual marketing plan for the organization; for strategic market planning; market research programs and control of the marketing budget.
- Leads the creation of the category strategy for the company and ensures it drives a profitable growth.
- Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity.
- Establishes marketing goals to ensure share of market and profitability products.
- Challenges channel and customer plans to fully support brand building and other brand and portfolio objectives.
- Conducts yearly portfolio performance analysis to ensure sustainable growth in profits, volume and value share
- Ensures portfolio strategy is incorporated into the channel, RTM and customer strategy
- Challenges brand strategy to ensure ongoing consumer preference.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing (preferable MBA).
- Minimum of 8-10 years in similar industry with at least 4 years in similar position.
Skills:
- Solid understanding of the beverage market.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.
