Job Title: Systems Engineer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Description

• You will perform daily system operations tasks to verify system integrity and availability as well as ongoing performance tuning, hardware/OS upgrades, and resource optimization
• Implements and maintains security for Server based systems throughout enterprise.
• Analyzes, optimises, implements, and maintains Goodwill Multi-Server platform and cloud based computing environment.
• Research, audits, tests, and sets standards for server operating systems, hardware, virtualization platforms and cloud technologies to ensure functionality for Enterprise.
• Installs and configures server hardware in the corporate and cloud environment.
• Audits, maintains, and optimises Active Directory architecture.
• Implements group policy and write scripts such as PowerShell to meet enterprise standards.
• Experience working on fault tolerant systems, these include but not limited to Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft File Services, Microsoft SharePoint
• Enterprise Faxing and Printing, Microsoft System Center, VMware ESX, Firewall’s security, Cisco DNA, HPE Synergy, HPE Nimble and 3par.
• Creates reference and operational documentation (Sys diagrams, installation documents, etc.)
• Manages assigned projects and meets deadlines with moderate supervision from Sr. Infrastructure Engineer and Architect or IT Director

Preferred Qualifications

• Qualification: Bachelor's Degree
• At least 1 year of experience in Operating System (OS) vulnerability mediation.
• At least 2 years of experience in as a System Engineer handling system.
• MCSE or CCNA certification
• IT background
