Job Description
Reporting to the Head, Software Development, the successful candidate will plan, analyse and develop software applications, using best practices and state of the art tools and architectural standards, while providing second level support to existing products and solutions, in order to meet client specifications and standards. Key responsibilities will be to:
- Execute software development projects in line with company approved plans, processes and guidelines in order to achieve sot project objectives.
- Participate with other team members to build highly responsive solutions and capabilities that empower businesses
- Provide an efficient second level support and initiate process improvements in line with company guidelines and objectives aimed at providing adequate technical support to the business process.
- Work collaboratively with other team members in line with the departmental Standard Operating Procedures in other to minimise maintenance requirements.
- Ensure the successful deployment of developed applications in partnership with System and Network department, in line with the departmental Standard Operating procedures in order to achieve set objectives.
Key Requirements
- Experience in Microsoft NET (C#, ASP.NET), MVC 4 Patterns, JavaScript, JQuery JQuery Mobile. HTML, CSS, WCF, Web Services (SOAP RESTful), SQL Server, JSON, XML.
- Experience in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), OOAD, Multithreading, and Background Service.
- Working Knowledge of UMI, Use Cases, MSMQ, Database Design and Modeling.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Quality Assurance
- Basic knowledge of Business Intelligence and/or Microsoft SharePoint, and Mobile Apps Development.
- Minimum of 5 years programming experience
