Job Title: Expatriate Facility Manager (Indian)

Job Description
- The facilities Manager is responsible for the management, operation and the staffing of the following functions:
- Asset Blueprints
- Security
- Maintenance
- Housekeeping
- Fire and Safety
- Health and safety requirements
- Building and grounds
- Legal requirements
- Daily water readings of the property to ensure the council bills the hotel correctly.
- Oversee the monthly electrical readings and ensure savings is closely monitored to eliminate additional electrical consumption. Separate entities within the Hotel is charged correctly on a monthly basis for electricity consumed.
- Operational Equipment service schedule is compiled and equipment is serviced on time each month as set out in the schedule to eliminate equipment breaking down due to non-service and to extend the lifespan of each and every piece of equipment.
- Preventative Maintenance plan to be in place, this is critical to secure the well-being of the property and to prolong the lifespan.
- Gas readings to be taken daily to monitor consumption and to eliminate misuse of gas. Gas account to be verified in accordance with the readings taken.
- Facilitate the Asset Counts and the updating of Assets.
- Check lists for Housekeeping staff, Cleaners, Public Cleaners, Houseman, Supervisors and Maintenance staff to be in place and checked daily. This will eliminate guest complaints and will ensure guest satisfactory.
- Completed daily check lists on both generators
- Repairs of broken items with the maintenance team
- Cost saving measures to be implemented and maintained.
- Weekly and monthly safety checks and recording of all fire extinguishers, fire hoses, fire alarm sounders, smoke detectors and fire pump.
- Demonstrate exceptional level of professionalism, maturity and emotional intelligence at all times
- Security at the property and the well-being of guest.
- Ensure all relevant operating equipment is controlled and sufficient for hotel needs.
- Managing White Glove Room Policy to ensure that all relevant standards are maintained. Monthly operational stock take, as well as month end stock take and reporting.
- Maintain a sufficient supply of gas and diesel.
- Adhere to and enforce a high level of safety standards in the workplace.
- Ensures compliance to all relevant Health and Safety regulations within the rooms and public space domain.
- Ensures that all reports associated with the department are accurate and produced on time. Maintains excellent relationships with Hotel guests.
- Constantly assesses the training requirements of the functions as managed and implements regular training programmes.
- Schedules staff duties and draws staff rosters.
- Attends regular meetings with other management members as defined by the General Manager.
Qualifications
- Tertiary Qualification in Hospitality Management
- Trade qualification essential
- Facility manager diploma
- 10 to 15 years prior experience in similar role.
Salary
USD 1,500 Monthly.
