Job Description
- Analyze body fluids or tissues using microscope or automatic analyzer to detect abnormalities or diseases
- Conduct blood test and perform blood count.
- Examine cells and culture to find abnormalities.
- Set up, maintain, calibrate, clean and test sterility of medical laboratory equipment.
- Analyze result of data
- Record test data.
- Work with pathologist when abnormal cells are found.
- Prepare standards solution or reagent to be combined with samples.
- Analyze food or drink samples to detect contamination or to ensure quality.
- Environmental sample analysis to detect pollution.
- Front desk/reception function when not in lab.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields with a minimum of 2 years work experience.
- Candidate should reside in Lagos
